Feeling Blue

I'm such a fan of draped garments because I always feel like a Greek goddess. It's perfect for the curvy girl because it can hide problem areas. This crop top and maxi skirt set from Pinkclubwear is so simple and be can dressed up like I did with heels and a cute clutch or even worn with gladiator sandals. I hope you enjoyed my look!

Nudes and Neutrals

My style lately has been inspired by Kim Kardashian's minimalism and monochromatic tones. I love her color palette that frequents her street style - army green, nude, black, and white. It's so clean and can make a big statement. I played up my nude and black today with a touch of gold accessories and bold sunglasses. I've always been a fan of fall/winter colors in the summer and my new lipstick stands true. MAC launched a new matte lipstick collection and this creamy coco brown, Antique Vintage, caught my eye. I paired it with a deep purple liner, Nightmoth, also from MAC. Hope you enjoy my outfit of the day.

Mecation in Miami

My 27th birthday vacation to Miami wasn't supposed to be spent alone, but it ended up being a me-cation. Being alone in a different city was a true testament to my confidence and it allowed me to truly just escape my reality for a few days. I enjoyed myself. I was able to do everything I wanted on my own pace, sleep in, not clean up my hotel room, tan for as long as I wanted, and just wander around and explore. I was able to think and not think. It was all about me. I received so many Snapchat messages asking if I was alone and even kudos. I learned that you can't live your life on another's timeline. If your friends or significant other don't have their coins together, can't organize, or simply don't want to go then you plan a trip all by yourself. Sunshine, frozen daiquiris, sand, sight seeing and fabulous swimwear filled up my weekend.

Mia The Boss Day

Happy birthday to me! I prayed so much throughout the day on my birthday because I'm beyond blessed! I am excited to create more memories with the people I love and to continue making my dreams a reality. I celebrated my 27th birthday with my closest friends at Fahrenheit Restaurant situated above the Skye Condos uptown Charlotte. This restaurant is definitely a cute date night spot or a night out with your girlfriends with spectacular view and new American cuisine. My birthday look is what I dubbed "Princess Barbie" - tons of pink and glitter. I rocked my favorite hue, hot pink, from head to toe in a sweetheart midi dress from Pinkclubwear and pink suede t-straps. I took a break from doing my own makeup and had the opportunity to work with the talented makeup artist, Tai Invidi, beat my face. Thank you so much for the warm and loving birthday wishes.
