Athletic wear is such a big fashion trend. The beauty of this trend is that it can be dressed up or down. You've seen me rock this trend several times because it's my absolute favorite and the most fun to style. I wore a baseball jersey from Fat Medusa with some cool details on the back - the infamous Beyonce song "Flawless" and Michael Jordan's popular jersey number, 23. I paired it with a white skirt with mesh inserts to continue the color scheme. I love mixing textures so my look of the night was completed with a denim oversized pouch and lace booties.

Weekend Fun In ATL

Weekend getaways are the absolute best, especially when it involves a friend's birthday. My friend and I went to Atlanta for the weekend for some no-sleep fun! When I touched down on Friday, I checked in out the bustling Hilton Atlanta and went straight to Snob Life Studio to get my hair done. I've always wanted to check out Ming Lee's gorgeous salon. The interior decor was so chic and luxurious from the booths the stylists are stationed at to the infamous glitter steps to the faux tufted wallpaper. Paris gave me her infamous P-Curls. I also had the officially chance to meet the self-made mogul, Ming. The rest of my weekend consisted of clubbing comes up until the sun, shopping at Lenox Square and in Little 5 Points, and dining at unique restaurants to Atlanta (I finally tried Thai food).  Follow me on Four Square to see all the cool places I checked in at.

Mia The Boss Birthday

With another year of age comes more wisdom, fabulousness, personal growth, and happiness. I celebrated my 26th birthday this week with over the top partying and even more over the top fashion. I had the entire princess treatment from a private car transporting me and my girls to the club, a makeup artist, a gigantic custom cake, and a glammed out VIP section at the club.

Sunday, my friend's birthday gift to me was a personal driver to chauffeur the my crew to Label. I wore a color blocked dress from Johntine's Boutique, which I dubbed the "Pink Ranger" dress.

I hired a talented makeup artist in the Carolinas, Kendra Foster, to beat my face for my birthday instead of me doing it for a change. Kendra gave me a the perfect smokey eye and flawless, glowy skin to complement the perfect birthday dress - a bandage dress from Boutique 115. I enjoyed dinner and unforgettable conversation at Ruth Chris Steakhouse with close friends. My friends, thought I was crazy for wanting to have my dinner at a steakhouse and I don't even like steak. With it being my first time at Ruth Chris, I was dying to try to their stuffed chicken breast and garlic mashed potatoes. To top off the delicious meal, we stuffed our faces with a two layer chocolate cake made by Creations Bakery Boutique. (Peep my blog colors on my cake.)

Every special occasion requires glitz and glam, so a gold sequin dress to match a bronzed body was only right. Audacious and Feral created a custom piece for me giving me exactly what I envisioned - a deep v-neck and a wrap hemline with draping. My makeup artist, Kendra, beat my face to perfection. Keeping up with bronzed goddess theme, I was glowing head to toe. My official birthday party was at RE:Public located in uptown Charlotte. My I was surprised with the prettiest VIP section decorated with giant hot pink balloons spelling my name and even more pink, black, and silver balloons. I even had a special delivery from Citi of Sweets consisting of chocolate covered strawberries infused with tequila. I had the best time celebrating another year of life with my friends with good music, drinks, and laughs.
