Bartender's Ball

I attended the 13th Annual Charlotte Bartender's Ball last Sunday at Silver Hammer Studios in NC Music Factory. It's an annual semi-formal charity event which features 40 local bars. This year's theme was "Tinseltown: Salute to Movies & TV." The decor was all done up with life size Oscar trophies and each bar had their own tribute to a movie or television show. It was so refreshing to see men and women decked out in gowns and tuxedos. Also, can you imagine unlimited drinking for $60? I wore a gorgeous lace gown from Chic and Curvy Boutique, which featured a sparkly embellishment and a mermaid hemline. I can't wait until next year's ball. Oh, do you like my new asymmetrical bob? I've always wanted to try the bob. My stylist, T.Nicole, cut my Madelyn Virgin Hair to perfection. I'm already missing my long hair, but this bob is so chic.

Meet The Girl Behind The Blog

I'm so proud to announce my first ever meet and greet event! I got a little comfortable being back in Charlotte and have been able to meet so many of my followers. I've been asked about having a meet and greet for such a long time now, so here it is! If you're familiar with the CIAA tournament (for those who aren't it's a collegiate basketball tournament held) then you know that a big week of partying is on the way in Charlotte. I've attended every year since 2008, but the past three years have gotten better and better. I'm hosting my event at the chic House of Chanel Boutique on Sunday, February 23 from 4-7pm. Come sip, snack, and shop with me and get ready for CIAA, which begins Monday, February 24. Cupcakes, wine, desserts, and so much more are in store for all my attendees. I am beyond excited to meet my fatshionistas! See you in a few days!

Super Stylish Super Bowl

I'm not a big sports fan, but I'm all about a fabulous event. I went to a Super Bowl XLVIII party at the Studio Movie Grill at the EpiCenter in Charlotte. SMG is an a one of a kind experience because you can enjoy a movie while sitting in big, comfortable seating and enjoy an entree, martini, and even dessert. We were able to select a complimentary entree which made the game a lot better. My girls and I enjoyed quesadillas, coconut shrimp and chicken, fries, and a pitcher of strawberry margarita. I cheered on the Seahawks to victory and ended the night with ice cream sandwiches and a brownie sundae. I stayed casual chic in a graphic tee and fringe leggings paired with studded combat boots. My replica Celine frames added such a funky touch to my outfit. Of course you can't forget red lips to any black and white outfit. I can't wait to go back to SMG on a cutesy date with my boo.

I finished the night celebrating my homie's birthday at Label, one of the nicest nightclubs in Charlotte. (It's so beautiful inside) I finally wore this mixed print dress from Love Drunk Boutique. I absolutely love the mixed print theme I've been seeing lately. I had to switch up my makeup for a more glam look for night - thicker faux lashes, darker eye, and a nude lip. My huge crystal earrings added such a old Hollywood glam feel. I had an awesome night and look forward to CIAA!
