I'm all about making clothing work for you. Just because I'm plus size doesn't mean I have to shop only plus size stores and selections. I've learned that every brand runs differently and also certain materials allow me to wear straight sizes. I'm a huge fan of ASOS and I can easily fit a UK 12 or UK 14, which is a US 8 or 10. I look for materials such as elastane and spandex, which are stretchy. I purchased two dresses from Boohoo.com a few weeks ago and absolutely hated how they both looked. One I kept because I knew I could work with it, the other would even fit over my chest. The dress I kept was a turtleneck lime green body conscious dress. I ordered it in a UK 14, which was still a little snug. The material was very thin and cheap. Long story short, I will never order from them again. I went out of town last Thursday and packed the lime green dress thinking I can pair it with a skater skirt, but ended up just wearing the dress. I absolutely love the color and obsessed with neons for the summer. To play up the brightness, I wore one of my favorite lip colors from MAC - Candy Yum Yum - and kept my signature makeup look. I keep my eye makeup, which consists of faux lashes and heavy liner, pretty simple. I love bronzers and opt for a dewy, bronzy look. I recently got my hair relayered and I absolutely love how much more manageable it is when I curl it and style it. Loved this look and hope you do too!
