Hope all of my lovely readers had a fabulous Christmas. Did Santa bring you what you wanted? I did a little day after Christmas shopping today. Exchanged this dress at Torrid for some goodies, stocked up on bras at Lane Bryant, bought a MAC lipstick, and finally purchased a Michael Kors watch. I've been wanting one forever, but couldn't find a gold tone one that was chunky enough. I peeped this one at the Michael Kors Outlet at the Concord Mills Mall two weeks ago. I love it. It's the perfect arm candy.

My Graduation Weekend

I graduated from college last Saturday. Honestly, it didn't feel like anything. Everyone keeps asking how do I feel? I feel the same. I just don't have class at 8 in the morning. College has taught me so much about myself. These last 4.5 years of my life, I have gained so much confidence. I was under strict restrictions when I was in high school, which stifled my freedom. My personal style emerged my freshman year when I was able to wear what I wanted. I love to look back at photos of myself when I was 18. I can truly see the evolution of me. I am so excited for what the future holds and all the great things that God has in store for me.

My Black Is Beautiful

Friday, Nxlevel hosted their annual "Onyx" Black Party at Bryan Park Country Club. This was my last one as an undergraduate student. Each year my outfit has been better than the last. Velvet is definitely in this season, so this tube dress from Torrid had to be mine. I took of the attached belt it came with and added a faux leather jacket from Target (purchased in 2008). Thanks so much to Torrid for this fabulous dress. Being the fatshionista on a budget, my shoes are A.N.A., which is a JC Penny brand. I loved my outfit and felt sexy!

Johntine's Boutique

I received my package from Tia who owns Johntine's Boutique, a plus-size boutique in Brooklyn, on Monday. I was so excited and it came super fast. I got the La La Tube Dress and these gigantic hot pink feather earrings. The earrings are so big. I definitely can't wear my hair down with these. I'm thinking about giving these away in another contest! I got the dress in a 3X and it fits like a glove (sorry for not taking a picture, but I was looking a mess)! I will probably be wearing this dress next weekend to this black party, so stay tuned to see what I wear. Check out Johntine's now because she has a Pink Friday sale!

***** UPDATES *****
I finally wore the dress last Thursday at this super-cool themed party, All of the Lights. It was a glow in the dark kind of deal with glowsticks. The dress was super comfortable and flattering.

Alexander Wang Coco Duffle

I went to Francesca's Collections today to exchange a purse that I got last week (the Ivy League bag), which was an exhange from a purse that broke. I hated the bag I had before because it felt so cheap and the lining was thin. I was going to get this black bag that had a long chain strap, but then I found this beauty on the shelf. I picked it up and realized it was a dead on replica of the Alexander Wang Coco Duffle Bag that I could only dream of owning. It has gold studs on the bottom and even a cute little tassle. I love how it has a removable long strap, which would be great for times when I need to be hands-free at the mall. Just like my old bag, the Champs-Elysees Bag, it has houndstooth lining. This is definitely my best purchase of 2010.
